Cilab has announced the international competition for Sustainable technology ideas.
Sustainable technology ideas means those ideas which can combine the development of an electronic device with wireless communication capabilities and an application to the Internet of things in which to be used.
The goal of the contest is to promote awareness on the need to improve the environment, our cities and our homes through the creation and use of technology applications that promote the sustainability of various activities.
The first edition of the Sustainable Technology Contest will take place from May 26th, 2011 to December
How To Apply:
To get part in this contest, all you have to do is just show them viable idea for an application or utility for the Internet of Things.
But remember that only top 100 would get a chance to participate in second round of competition where all contestants will have to develop their ideas, and only top 5 will be rewarded.

Eligibility:
The competition is open to any person, group or organization (engineers, architects, industrial designers, artists or creators).
Contestants must be over 18 years and have a viable idea. The projects may be carried out individually or in groups, with no restriction on the number of members of the team.

To join the contest you must register. Registration is free and open until the end of the first phase.
